The Year of Water is a university-led, statewide initiative to convey the connectedness of water—where it comes from, where it goes, and why we should care. The effort is being coordinated by University of Oregon, Oregon State University, and Portland State University. The initiative highlights the role that Oregon’s research universities play as community and industry leaders and partners seeking to address water-related challenges in Oregon, regionally, and worldwide.

The Year of Water is planned for March 2020-February 2021.
